ugh. that sounds like a contaminated API if it distributed that widely. I wonder why that particular bacteria isn't tested for in release testing.

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient - so one of the upstream inputs to the medicine. if this recall had extended past this one manufacturer, it would be more likely to be one of the inactive ingredients that's bought by multiple companies from a common supplier. |
