Rules:

I added the table. clark- i like how Cignet's long term chart looks. why is this stock outperforming others in Insurance? i own some Arch Capital, and for the past month, particularly, it is heading in the opposite direction of Cignet. |

I added the table. clark- i like how Cignet's long term chart looks. why is this stock outperforming others in Insurance? i own some Arch Capital, and for the past month, particularly, it is heading in the opposite direction of Cignet. CIGNA and Arch Capital are similar in that they both are insurers. They are dissimilar because CIGNA is a health care insurance company and Arch Capital is a diversified insurance company. CIGNA was hit by COVID but Arch Capital even more, which doesn't make much sense to me. I think Arch Capital may be more interest rate sensitive, but I do not know that to be a fact. I think both are solid enough to weather the storm. I used to own some shares of ACGL and noticed the stock would often go down in hurricane season. Hopefully both have better days ahead than today. |

not sure if I will be here for Monday's opening bell, so can you put me down for Valmont Industries, ticker VMI next week?
Not sure why I would go long for this company the way the markets are, but I will. If utilities are actually spending money on new infrastructure/transmission lines, etc, they should have a good earnings report as well as a positive outlook for new orders.
Or not..........
