Multiple cars stranded after getting gas at Kinder

Even worse than high gas prices. I wonder what the cost will be to fix these cars.

Kinder, LA (KPLC) - Several drivers are stranded near the Coushatta casino after reportedly getting gas at a CITGO gas station on U.S. Hwy 1

Sheriff Hebert tells us at least six vehicles broke down and had to be towed.



Hebert also said his deputy is working to confirm that all the drivers came from the same gas station. No road blockages have been reported.

I read a follow-up that they inadvertently put diesel into the gas storage tank. The owners have agreed to cover any cost associated with repairs. It should be no more than pumping out the tank and putting fresh gas in.
