Hey all,
So I have my new fidelity account, got the 100 free cash, invested it, and up 7% woohoo!!
So wanted to set up regular depos into this account, but it only give monthly as an option. So I set up monthly thinking maybe more options after set up, and you can do custom and then picking dates and months, etc. but wth?
depositing on payday can't be that unusal, and most people get paid every two weeks....so - what is up? Am I missing something?

Well, ours is done through our payroll at work. The transfer is done each pay period. Is that maybe what you’re missing? You’re trying to do it through Fidelity and not through your employer?

You’re trying to do it through Fidelity and not through your employer? that's a thought to do it from the payroll side, with my vanguard I just set up recurring autodeposit every other week on payday. Doning things through payroll is awkward. we *finally* got to be able to change our 401k contriutions online thought the portal - and then I find out it just sends a message to our HR that does it manually. I'd prefer peeps not know my business!

could you set up two monthly transfers that each occur two weeks apart from eachother?

I just set mine up to deposit on the 30th of each month. I get paid every two weeks. This seems to work out fine for me...I can see the reasoning behind wanting to do it on payday though...
