Fox and Melania ignore reality re Vogue covers

I read Stephanie Grisham's first book on the Trump WH and Melania specifically. Melania was unwilling to give interviews to magazines. Most of us know whoever graces the front cover has to give an interview for any magazine to want to put them on the cover. Melania wanted the cover pic but not the work that went with it. 

I remember Laura Bush being on the cover of Good Housekeeping because she was willing to do the usual and give an interview to the magazine. Its Melania's fault for not wanting to give interviews. No interview, no magazine cover. That's how it works Melania, the problem was you.

I think she may not like to give interviews because her English may not be totally fluent. As someone who works for a foreign company and has painfully navigated through a conversation I wasn’t completely sure I understood, I get that. She wouldn’t want to make an embarrassing flub on the national stage.

However- she needs to understand that Vogue readers aren’t buying the magazine to look at how stylish the First Lady is. Yes Melania was a successful model and had good fashion sense and a wealthy husband who can buy her designer clothes- but I’m sure New York is crammed with women just like that. They want to hear about what she thinks, and what her experience was - not look at fashion model poses.

This reminds me of what Ivanka supposedly called Melania- The Portrait- because she sat at family dinners without saying a word.
