If you don't know, this show is based very very loosely on history - Mary, Queen of Scots
One critic described it as "over-sexed high school with horses". Tend to agree but wife likes it so we watch.
Wife is not a student of history. Not sure how clued into the fact it is "history" she is.
Indicated she didn't like it when "they" killed off Francis. Said she enjoyed the relationship between he and Mary.
I am thinking I should say something/warn her about how "they" are going to end the story. I know she isn't going to like that.
Thoughts?

Does she know yet that Catherine is a real person?
I think I’m only through part of season three.
I like to figure out just how anachronistic or dramatized a “based on…” show is.

We are watching the last episode of season 3.
Not sure how aware she is of who is real.

I watched the first season or two real time. It's on my list to watch it all because I loved (damn any inaccuracy) I've just been avoiding a lot of heavy dramas. Happened to stop watching it before anyone died.

I watched it years ago when it was on regular TV. I don't think they follow Catherine to the very end, IIRC.
