Emailing or sending Iphone videos to someone

I could use some help. I finally attempted recording my part for virtual choir. But I can't seem to send it out. The Iphone whined the video might be too big. Its a .mov file that's over 3 minutes long but under 4. I have no idea what to do. 

Any ideas? Its sitting in my Outbox in my Iphone email.

Looks like people generally use Google Drive or wetransfer.com .

Any experience with either? Going to see if I can find info for at least one of my old Google email accounts.

I'll probably delete this thread since no one is responding. I've managed to put Google Drive on both the phone and my laptop. Trying videos to help. Still not there, with less than two hours to go.

Can you send the video to a desk top computer and try sending it from there?

I have watched a number of these virtual choirs/choruses and they seem to be sitting in front of a PC or desk top computer as they participate.

I was trying to do that, but I think I need a different cable for my phone. Its lighting to USB A, not USB 3 or USB 2. Playing with Google Drive right now and its taking an awful long time to process a video under 4 minutes. At least IMO. I did get the laptop side to cough up a link on Google Drive.

Frustrated because I wasn't planning to spend my whole day doing this. I need to apply to at least one job or something.

Oh, how fun. Just looked it up. It takes 5 to 20 minutes on average to process a video.

No. I still have to hunt up the two cellos guys. We are to participate in a multi congregation piece for Easter. I think I have under two weeks to do that one. Will have to check.

I give a lot of credit to whoever collates all these videos.

Just as information, it does not look like it will finish processing in time. It's about 3 minutes and 45 seconds long and I am seeing no progress at all. I've shut down most of my tabs, but I am on the slowest speed my provider offers because of price. And both the laptop and phone are using the wireless which probably slows it down more.

Sigh. I suppose it's not like I've wasted days before.

ETA - I was just able to open it on Google Drive and start playing it, so I hope it finished.

Just as a side note, if anyone uses Yahoo email still, do not use it to send Google drive links to a video. Apparently, it decides to change it to a generic Google drive link. So ... I was done in time, but mailed from the wrong account, so I'm not in this Sunday's video. 

Think I'm skipping choir rehearsal, but it probably will be sparsely attended because of St Patrick's day anyway.
