I'm wondering if anyone has recorded videos of themselves talking, singing or whatever on their phone or using Zoom. I need to make a song length video.
I have taken several online iPhone classes. I also setup a basic Zoom account recently when I realized my downloaded client sw was only that. This is my first smartphone, and I still have so much to learn. (I've been busy setting up an account with the Provider and learning what they will do for me Q wise and what I have to go to apple for. Sometimes I really miss my dead pay as you go dumb phone.)
So, if you've used the video on your phone or recorded yourself on Zoom and saved it, I'd love to hear your tips and suggestions. TYIA

I found that my hands shake too much when recording with my phone, so i have to have the phone on a tripod or setting someplace securely. I have a small tripod with an attachment for the phone and a ring light to have even lighting on my face. When I recorded something that didn't work with the mini tripod, I just used a hair tie to attach it to a bigger camera tripod. This is what i have. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HVH8FPF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I should have asked in the OP this as well - any suggestions on cheapish but OK microphones to go with a Dell laptop running windows 10?

I originally just bought it for the ring light because I was using a webcam to record myself and didnt need the phone holder, but then I did a different project that needed recordings with the phone and i was really happy that I had the cell phone attachment.
