Wonder what the former governor thinks now? Pardon a family friend's kid and have him end up with an additional 20 years in prison after a second conviction? Sounds like justice to me, or it would if they could charge the former governor too. Sounds like the pardon power for governors and presidents should also be subject to recommendation and oversight as well.

I've come to the conclusion that there isn't a system out there that is immune to corruption. As long as there are people wanting to corrupt we're screwed.

Not surprising Patrick Baker is now going to be in prison for a long time. One only has to review the list of people, including his son-in-law's father, trump pardoned and/or commuted their prison sentence and their connections to those who freed them. A few of them trump freed are back in the news for all the wrong reasons again. List of people granted executive clemency by Donald Trump

Exactly why the Republican Party needs to die. There are only a random few who possess any honor, courage, or integrity.
