It sounds like they are going to get the decoy boxes. The big question is whether the folks shipping them off will add weight to them to mimic the hostage.

Update from CBC No sign of treaty in box warThey have received at least one empty box and maybe all three. They added content to one so the cats won't fall through. There is a picture further down the article that shows Lando Calrissian and Max on boxes while George (Destroyer of Worlds) waits for one of his own. I want a cat so bad. Why do German Shepherds have to be such assholes? |

About once a day Maddow gets on a side table where I keep things like the remote and the nail clippers. He sits there and knocks everything off, one by one. Usually when I'm on the phone and he knows I won't yell at him.
Yesterday he lunged on to the computer keyboard while I was doing a telehealth appointment and shut it down. So I had to log back in and that takes about 5 minutes to get past all their security.

The saga continues in the great Vitamix Stand-off. Decoy boxes were unsuccessful vs the One True Box and the battle continues over the OTB. So Vitamix is stepping in and sending a filled box.
I think by the time this story is over, the MALs will have 3 legitimate boxes for the 3 cats to sit on. Vitamix is probably appreciating the publicity, apparently this hit CNN.
