DH and I are thinking of getting DD1 a laptop. She wants to get into editing videos for YouTube and play some games that need to be Windows or Mac based operating system. Any recommendations? We don’t want to spend a fortune.

We don’t want to spend a fortune. We have an msi that ds uses for gaming. It was $1000 because it's the family laptop. Friends of our went with a cheaper Lenovo and liked it too. |

My DH was looking at an Acer gaming laptop on Amazon. He almost pulled the trigger, but he didn't like that it didn't have the greatest soundcard. (Yes, it's like that for him, but I really didn't want to get yet another one.)
Anyway, it was just over $1000. I like Asus Tuf gaming myself. There were some on Newegg. I just think the prices on computers in general are high this year.

I got Gwen the Nike sneakers she wanted for $60. They were already on sale and I had a $10 coupon.
B&BW had buy three get three. I got the girls some body wash and lotion. For free I got myself a nice bottle of lotion and very much needed lip scrub.
I got good deals on pajamas for Gwen and a super cute outfit for Abby at Old Navy. A Hoodie for me may have snuck in there.
I'm done besides my dad and great grandma. Pretty proud of myself.

TV is purchased. Will still spend less than dh who is using the sales to finally get his upstairs fish tank set up.
I also bought an at home workout program I've been wanting for several months.
I think dh will pick up a tree tonight, but hopefully we're close to done.

I got 3 turtleneck tops for 60% off from Lands End. I love their clothes, but boy are they expensive. I only buy when they’re on sale at a good discount.

I had up to 70% off at lands end. I bought a squall coat and a couple mock turtlenecks. Also got some mineral foundation and eye cream on QVC, and DH and I went to jcp and a sporting goods store. I'm not feeling like I'm getting great deals this year, but they're not bad. Just not super excited about anything. I did find some Spyder gloves for MM for $10, which made up for the gloves that sold out on me hours after I placed my order at Kohl's. That shit pisses me off because he needs them for school Monday. We got freaking snow today. Not a lot, but it was white outside this morning and didn't melt off all day.

Whoever mentioned the Kindle Unlimited sale, THANK YOU! I didn't know they had one but I have Kindle Unlimited and use it all the time. So, I'm set for 2 years at half the price!

About $100 at target for ncaa t shirts and a couple of games. $100 each for SIL and me at philosophy, and $3600 bc the summer camp DS wants has a black friday discount and free gift. I did get $140 refunded to my card since my WaPo subscription just went through and then I asked if they’d give me the $9.99 promotional price. That was pretty awesome  I need to buy DH some shirts. Not really feeling the BF energy this year, there’s not too much that I actually want that’s on sale. I already hit most of the earlier sales so there’s a stack of books, Legos and toys and pajamas in the closet already. DH ordered a mac laptop for DS so I wouldn’t have to figure out which ipad to buy and also so I can have my mac laptop back. Good husband. I got the best BF deal. Today my sister just handed over her iPad Pro to me because she ordered the newest Mac laptop from Best Buy for herself so she doesn’t need her iPad. She had also recently bought the higher end keyboard for the iPad so I get that too.  |

I bought a new Roku stick for $29, new masks for half off with free shipping, and a free month of Paramount+. Most sales seemed more underwhelming than in past years. So I just bought things I was planning on getting anyway.
