I always use the black Friday deals to order my photo albums.. usually 60-75% off.
I'm also looking at getting a TV or 2 (that sounds crazy - but one for our "gym", and I think I want one upstairs. There is a small discount on a kiwico stem subscription crate I'm thinking about for my nephews.
What's everyone else buying?

about 2 weeks ago I bought myself a bissel crosswave X7 cordless floor vacuum/cleaner. It is about $150 cheaper at Kohls this week. I just rebought it so I can return the Target one. I don't think Target will match Kohl's extra 15% on a coupon +120 Kohls cash. So the Target one gets returned. I have already opened the Target one, so I am hoping the packaging is the same. I knew better!
I don't know what to buy my family. Son needs Cash (Furniture & rugs are mostly what he needs, and I don't want to decide for him), and I think DD really wants cash to pay her CC too. So I am going to limit their gifts this year (Famous last words). I never know what to buy DH.
I also bought myself a new fridge. I have to fess up to DH. I may end up cancelling - we will see. I have to fess up fast b/c delivery is scheduled for Dec 2nd.

I am hoping for a deal on a drink package for my cruise in February. I bought vanilla extract on an early black Friday sale from Amazon.
I don't know what to buy for anyone. And that is a problem. A bunch of them get gift cards/cash. Teenagers like that.

I bought a color-changing lightbulb that works with Alexa on sale for 99 cents. I don't care about its color-changing capabilities (I set it on white), but I am using it in the light fixture on my porch. It is awesome since I frequently forget to leave the porch light on if it is daylight when I leave.
I also got Kindle Unlimited for 4 months for $4.99. I am really enjoying it, but I won't pay $9.99 a month for it. I usually just get books, e-books and physical books, from the library, but I'm enjoying a lot of light reading that the library doesn't carry.
These were early BF sales. I have already bought everyone's presents except for a couple of more Shutterfly calendars. I wait until I can get free codes (still have to pay shipping) since they are so expensive even when 50% off. I only have 2 more to get (mine and my daughter's) so I am sure I will find them. The calendar has been made for several weeks.

I bought some Yankee Candles off of Amazon for gifts. They were normally #25 and on sale for $14.
I also bought two more bed pillows. Macy's had them on sale for $6.99 each. While getting those, I found a puzzle for our 3yo granddaughter.
I have an Ulta cart going also.

This is a Black Friday deal but Susana’s comment reminded me of it. My MIL gets an engagement calendar from us every year. (An engagement is like this (2nd page): www.calendars.com/shop/Monet-2022-Engagement/202200002567). Does anyone know of any place that makes something like this? (Shutterfly doesn’t.) I would like to make one for her using pictures that I can request. It can include her 4 kids, 12 grandkids and 14 great-grandkids.

I got winter boots for ISO, 40 % off, and a fitbit for me, about 35% off. I'm trying really hard just to stick to my predetermined list.

Nothing. I did eyeball a good deal on a Samsung Smart TV for what will be my yoga room when DS and DD move out, but I was afraid I would jinx myself. We gave them a September 2022 deadline.

My favorite purse and wallet company, MadisonStitch, makes everything here in KC and employees many in the refugee community. Their Black Friday sale actually starts on Black Friday and I'm going to look for deals in their prototype store. I hadn't planned to but I love their products and love to support Made in USA.

Not much I am interested in this year. I pounced on Old Navy's early black Friday sale to get a fleece pullover Gwen really wanted. They didn't have any in the burnt orange she wanted so I got her a nice dove grey instead. Good deal at 50% off. I refuse to pay regular prices at ON.
DH and I will go out because it's something to do and we can ditch the kids with the excuse we are Christmas shopping. I'm mainly going to be looking for stocking stuffers and such. I'm pretty close to done with my actual shopping for the kids. I am trying to buy local and/or buy small as much as I can. I am a little loose with local because sometimes you just can't find things so I buy at the brick/mortar version in my city rather than online and call that a decent compromise.

I’m going to look at jewelry for my Christmas gift from DH. I bought him a new wedding ring and he’s insisting on spending an equal amount on me. I don’t really need anything but I like jewelry.

Glad I'm not the only one who gave their kids a deadline! Mine had to be out this last September. Best thing ever! For both my sanity and their mental wellbeing. They've grown up a lot in the past few months. For the better.

I just dropped a chunk at Macy's. My preferred sheets were finally back down to the price I wanted to pay. I have been looking all year.
I got 2 pairs of jeans for DH, a sweatshirt for my mom's husband, and some stuff for me to wear when I have to start going back to the office in January.

We all know where I went. I got a bunch of cologne deals since my mom wanted to try some out.
Elf also had a 40% off sale and I went wild. It was already dirt cheap, and I get another 40% off? Sold!
H lives in joggers and likes the ones from Gym Shark, so I got her some. Their sale is up to 70% off.

There is a video editing program called Camtasia that I have wanted to buy for some time now. The company that produces it has been advertising that they will have a Black Friday sale, so if it's a decent discount I will go ahead and buy it.
I use it at work, but my husband has been kicking around the idea of making some home renovation videos for YouTube, and it would be nice to have it at home to edit the videos.

I bought Christmas cards from the Hallmark store . . . $8.79 with $0 delivery. At the church I now go to, everyone brings them to church where someone organizes and then distributes them. No stamps are involved. Finally, I get enough to decorate the mantel with.

Except for my Macy's order, all my stuff has been Amazon. I'm trying to take care of at least the people I know what to buy for.
Walmart, Target, Sam's and BJ's had nothing to interest me. Maybe that's because we don't need new tablets, phones, ear buds, TVs, etc.

I've gotten a bunch of clothes for my older DS from Kohl's, plus a couple of other things. Bought some slippers for myself and DH from QVC last week. DH bought the Kitchenaid mixer from Target last week. He also got a bunch of toys and random crap from Amazon/Target.
There really didn't look like there was that much to get this year. My older boy often needs new clothes, while my younger boy has all the hand-me-downs + a few new things. So there's that. My DH is looking at a new laptop, which I'm opposed to. If we actually needed one, I would have bought the one I saw last year. Now they're more expensive, and we have 3 that still work. One of them doesn't suck. Plus, I have my tablet.

Oops. Spoke too soon. MadisonStitch opened up its Black Friday sale and I spent $150 on a handbag. Both the leather and the wood trim come from Hermann. MO, a favorite vacation place of mine (starting from the years DH and I went there). Not a great discount but a good business to support and very high-quality products.
I'm hoping that the $$ I just put into the grandchildren's 529 accounts (via check deposit from an app last night) can be invested today. I sent a note to the advisor. It's Edward Jones, an old-line firm where the broker executes the trades. I may also move some of my own money into one of the stock ETFs.

Dd and I are headed to Arc and goodwill to look for Christmas decorations. I want to do some lighted lanterns and oversized lawn ornaments.
Home depot later today so I can get supplies to try for some diy rustic decorations.
I haven't bought a TV yet. I keep putting one on my cart and not ordering. Mostly because it means a new project of hanging current TV on the wall upstairs and no idea when I'll get to that.

About $100 at target for ncaa t shirts and a couple of games. $100 each for SIL and me at philosophy, and $3600 bc the summer camp DS wants has a black friday discount and free gift. I did get $140 refunded to my card since my WaPo subscription just went through and then I asked if they’d give me the $9.99 promotional price. That was pretty awesome I need to buy DH some shirts. Not really feeling the BF energy this year, there’s not too much that I actually want that’s on sale. I already hit most of the earlier sales so there’s a stack of books, Legos and toys and pajamas in the closet already. DH ordered a mac laptop for DS so I wouldn’t have to figure out which ipad to buy and also so I can have my mac laptop back. Good husband.
