went live this morning on the stock exchange.
Ticker symbol BITO opened at $40.88 and trading at $40.99right now.
Thinking of buying in.
Rather own an etf at this time rather than the actual Bitcoin.

Be careful. This ETF invests in Bitcoin futures, not Bitcoin. It's similar to USO, the US Oil Fund. This article does a decent job of explaining the risk. -movinonup |

Are you still in this? Looks like Bitcoin might have finally bottomed but the carnage in this sector is huge. yep. it was about 2% of my equity assets, and now it is about 1%. for a while it was 3%. comes and goes. but to answer the obvious question, i am not sure what to do, now. As I have stated elsewhere, I too am so unsure of my abilities to deciphor the markets right now. |

As I have stated elsewhere, I too am so unsure of my abilities to deciphor the markets right now. technically, bitcoin is an asset class like currency or commodities, not equities. but taken generally, i agree with your statement. this market is generally bearish right now, and so it is hard to decide where to park assets. |
