I read somewhere that QE has met all but one of the US presidents duringn her reign. I forget whu the missing one was, but the article mentioned one more (though different) exception: supposedly she only extended an ivitation to one of those presidents AFTER they left office. The person invited back as a private person was Obama. I know it won't happen as there is not enough room for all the heads of state that will attend but I would love, love, love Obama to get an invite and orange julius (aka the loser) to be snubbed.

i disagree with you about Trump -vs- 90% of Democrats.  i think he is worse than 90% of Republicans, and almost all Democrats.  there are a few hideous, refrigerator stuffing exceptions.  but most people (over half) in congress are decent people.

Trump is utterly indecent.  and that is putting it kindly.

You're right this is something I struggle with almost every election. I happen to think right now any democrat is worse than any republican just like many on this board but vice versa...so voting a third party that can't make it is like giving my vote to a democrat.

it really depends on what you define as "worse".  i don't even view the GOP as interested in governing right now, but rather carrying out the Nordquistian mission: making government small enough to be drowned in the bathtub.  

as to your second assertion, that is false.  voting third party, in practice, takes just as much from the GOP as it does Democrats.  this is actually well studied, and i can post the results of those studies on the board.  in other words, it is no more reducing GOP chances than Democratic ones.  that is a lie that both parties tell to keep the flock in line.  but i have been sick of it for almost 20 years now, and so have not voted for either main party candidate during that time.

It all started because Trump said DeSantis ‘stole his idea’ of shipping migrants to Martha’s Vineyard to take the spotlight off of Trump.
