One interesting piece of information - Timothy OBrien wrote a book back in 2005 that outlined Trump’s MO of greatly over estimating the value of a property in order to secure bank loans. At the time, no law enforcement was interested enough to do anything about it, but Trump sued him for defamation. O’Brian was able to back up all his claims with evidence, and Trump had to admit under oath multiple times that he was lying. The case was dropped.

But here we are, a couple decades later, with this DA pursuing civil charges and a second one looking at criminal charges (and jail time). It sounds like the legal system is finally interested in Trump’s serial fraud.

James presented these findings in Manhattan state Supreme Court to seek to compel Trump and children Don Jr. and Ivanka to submit to sworn testimony in the matter. Justice Arthur Engoron has plenty of evidence to support making the Trumps answer questions. Excellent going by James.

Meanwhile, from a D.C. courtroom, the U.S. Supreme Court rightly rejected Trump’s hollow claim of executive privilege regarding White House documents relevant to the attempted Trump putsch on Jan. 6 last. The House select committee probing the attack on the Capitol wants the records and shortly after the court ruled 8-1 against Trump, the National Archives was sending them to the House. Only Clarence Thomas agreed that an ex-executive could keep Congress in the dark.

Trump has never much been one for the rule of law, preferring the law of the jungle. But the law will eventually catch up to him. And it’s happening now, in New York and in Washington.

The committee will provide a watergate style public hearing of the facts, the send their collected evidence over to the DOJ, and that will be the group who decides how serious the charges are.

If the Democrats become the minority party after the election this year in November, I think plenty of critical information will be passed on to the Justice Department for future prosecution through 2024.

I think this is like yelling "Fire" in a crowded theatre. I am not sure what the laws are on the books for that. But freedom of speech does not mean freedom to do anything, especially for a former President. And since its Trump, this may be part cover for worse. 

Maybe we should get ahead of this. Start a campaign for Kamala Harris to look through the election results of 2024. because word on the street and Trump's mouth is he intends to cheat bigly.

Trump didn't pardon them b4 he left office. But this is really Trump theatre; Trump trying to protect himself from the consequences of his actions. What LG will do remains to be seen. If I had time, I'd prefer to find out what's getting done in DC.

What I heard him say this am on the tv tubes was that 176 people have pled guilty and should fully serve their sentences- no pardons for those who admit to participating in the insurrection. Of course there are about 500 more people with cases making their way through the system, so I’m assuming if any of them also take plea deals or are convicted he would agree they should serve their sentence as well.

Talking heads on the tubes this am speculating Trump is signaling to his minions not to say anything to the J6 committee and cross their fingers that he gets re-elected so he can do pardons for everyone.

Hopefully they won’t fall for that. Should he get re elected he’ll be too busy smiting his enemies to worry about the minions.

If they were smart enough to make that connection January 6th wouldn't have happened to begin with.

That's what makes them and Trump so dangerous.  He knows they are too blindly loyal to their cult leader to think it through and he's going to milk it for all it's worth.
