Exactly. I think Death Sentence understands politics better than Trump. Trump still acts like the Apprentice persona crossed with CEO who always gets his way. Apparently Trump spent the weekend stewing about DiSantos. He’s not grateful and ass kissy enough that Trump enabled his rise to prominence. He’s forgotten Trump is the King of the Republicans. In many ways, Trump acts just like a mob boss, doesn’t he. Show lavish fidelity or be killed. He’s getting his minions to spread the idea that DiSantos is ‘boring. ‘ Still hasn’t figured out some of us like boring politicians.

Trump continues his DeSantis whine : ‘why won’t he say he won’t run against me?’

NY AD is trying to get Trump and his kids to testify about their fraudulent business practices. www.salon.com/2022/01/19/new-york-ag-significant-evidence-committed-fraud_partner/Way back in 2015 I questioned why Trump would want to run for president, knowing it would put a bright spotlight on something that had always stayed carefully hidden - his business dealings. NY city is notorious for having a dirty, mobbed up real estate environment, and there was already evidence Trump and his father routinely cheated the tax man. It was stupid to draw further attention to it. And here we are. Trump, like Al Capone, might go down for tax fraud. At least, unlike Capon, he won’t die from an STD thanks to antibiotics.

Say what you want about Mitch, but the man is a master of the political game. I found this article interesting. His friend interviews DeSantis, he subtlety diss Trump, and if the media brings anything up, it's fake news. Puts Trump in a box where he can't name call DeSantis. Trump can say what he wants about Mitch, but he is outmatched. The remarks made for irresistible headlines — the two GOP heavyweights and possible 2024 contenders were feuding. Just days before, Trump had appeared to take a swipe at DeSantis, calling politicians who have refused to reveal their vaccination status “gutless.” Both camps have denied any real friction, and they blamed “the media” for overhyping tensions, but Trump advisers say they see a hidden hand at play: that of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who is in a pitched battle with Trump over the future of the Republican Party in political races all over the country. They pointed to the podcast itself, because DeSantis made the attention-grabbing remarks on Ruthless, which is co-hosted by McConnell’s longtime adviser Josh Holmes. Shortly after the podcast was posted Friday, Twitter was flooded with the suggestion that DeSantis had knocked Trump by saying one of his biggest regrets was not having been “louder” about the harms of the lockdowns intended to help slow the spread of the virus. To many in Trump’s camp, it all looked like a setup. www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-s-advisers-point-finger-mcconnell-reports-desantis-feud-swirl-n1287618

He has been unwilling since Trump has been elected to go public too much with his desires, basically pinning his hopes on the Dems without giving much if anything in return. This really is same shit different day for me. It's been six years. While he can outlast Trump and many others, a patriot he is not. We all know the current war will be DeSantis versus Trump. He's just exploiting that. Both are bad for the country and democracy. Will there be support for a Biden equivalent come 2023? Maybe possibly probably not, as Mitch's political mastery is more for him than his country or even his party. He herds them well, but so has Trump.

Because of the media, Trump is already name-calling DeSantis. Dull DeSantis. news.yahoo.com/trump-slams-dull-desantis-ahead-214932431.htmlDonald Trump is trashing Ron DeSantis in private as an ingrate with a "dull personality" and no realistic chance of beating him in a potential 2024 showdown, according to sources who've recently talked to the former president about the Florida governor.

Trump is so easy to read on his manipulations now, but it does work on his chosen people. www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-curses-mcconnell-s-name-during-rant-republican-donor-event-n1263750Former President Donald Trump again lashed out at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., calling the top Republican a "dumb son of a b----" and a "stone cold loser" in a long rant at a Republican donor event Saturday night in which he reiterated his false claims that he won the election last fall.
The usual shit. Stone cold loser is really about him, but he projects it on McConnell because Project steal democracy did not work out as hoped. The dumb son of bitch is because the deposed toddler king has been thwarted. DeSantis may or may not be able to get the nomination. IDK. I know Trump and his band of democracy destroyers have done the math and realize DeSantis running can spoil his chances at the nomination. In fact, I'd bet odds it would. Many might pick DeSantis as a younger better looking un-tried crazy, versus going for he who cheats always. The saner remain in the wings. Romney. Others.

In theory I think if the Republicans spit polished the turd and backed him DeSantis could outbid Trump for the nomination. I do think a huge part of how Trump managed to slide in is the Republicans were too busy squabbling over a rather large pool of nominees. Nobody thought Trump would win the nomination so there was no motivation to pick someone else. I do think if they had paid attention Trump likely would have gone the way of Ross Perot. Trump has been a handy puppet to get them where they wanted to go politically but he's becoming too much of a loose cannon they likely aren't going to be able to control him during a second round. DeSantis is a better puppet to continue the Republican party forward in the image they have crafted for themselves. He's a much smoother talking whackadoodle and they can appeal to the independents who voted for "Anyone but Trump" in 2020.

Trump can be puppetish, but he is too much of a personality to not assert his will frequently. Jan. 6th is because of him. Project Steal the election is still ongoing due to him. Yes, the GOP and others used his inexperience and ineptitude as President to pass sweeping GOP goals. Stacking the Supreme Court, cutting regulations, trying to portray the other side as crybabies. The list goes on. Trump's right-hand guy was Steve Bannon whose agenda literally is to destroy America and sow chaos. I don't think DeSantis will be a puppet either. He's more likely to have a clue. I don't want to be Florida, and I think it's telling that both men have made Florida their home.

I say better puppet because DeSantis is going to do everything McConnel and CO want just like Trump because DeSantis is also greedy for power BUT he won't go off the rails because he thinks one of them called him a poopy head. They can polish him to be Trump Lite which will lure in independents and Republicans who are turned off by Trump's mouth.

DeSantis scares me more than DT in terms of our democracy because of the fact that he is much smarter. He is using Florida as an experiment in my opinion.

Trump was the practice round for Republicans. They have likely gone as far as they can go with him, now it's time to have someone smart enough to know how government works to finish the task.

Realize the fight in not just federal. It is past time for all good people to get out there and defend what's right in their state and federally. I am not sure whether DeSantis is worse. I prefer not to find out. So, all you funded folks out there who don't want this should watch the erosion of rights at state level too. This is a fight on all fronts because it is obvious to the GOP what they are selling is NOT the will of the majority of the people.

this is from his speech tonight: Trump's medical industry claims
In his speech, Trump made claims about "race-based preferential Covid treatments."
In some communities, "If you're white, you don't get the vaccine, or if you're white you don't get therapeutics," Trump claimed.
"You know, in New York, if you're white, you go right to the back of the line to get help," he added. it's wonderful how he is bringing us all together, isn't it? (against him)And to think Arizona senator Kyrsten Sinema is worried if the filibuster is removed (at least to pass the Voting Rights bill) it will further divide the country. Sinema will be a Republican by the time I retire.

That is a tough call without more information. Is it a HIPAA violation? I would need to know more and how he got the info. Gee DeSantis choosing a Surgeon General to reflect his views? Kind of Duh. Trump did it.

Has anyone ever labeled this pic with who these people are, so we know to ignore their spiritual advice?

The blonde woman in the picture closest to trump (AKA Beelzebub) is ultra-conservative megachurch minister Paula White. "[White] She delivered the invocation at his inauguration, on January 20, 2017.[2] She is the first female clergy member to deliver the invocation.[3] In November 2019, Trump appointed her special advisor to the Faith and Opportunity Initiative at the Office of Public Liaison.[4][5]" Paula WhiteAll the others are ultra-conservative ministers too.

If there really is a God that room should have either burst into flames or everyone should have been pillars of salt because isn't there something in the commandments about not worshipping false idols?
Cause I see a giant orange spray painted cow right in the middle.
