Trump has hated McConnell since McConnell spoke out against him after the Jan 6th riots. Now Trump is pushing his congressional minions to oust McConnell and put someone else (someone who adores Trump) in power. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-seeking-challenger-to-mcconnell-as-senate-gop-leader-report/ar-AAOC37t?li=BBnb7KzGranted I am not a politician, but this looks crazy even to me. McConnell had been in congress forever. He easy won his last election. He’s always been a far right conservative. A push to get rid of him would fracture the GOP in the senate. It makes no sense at all, for the party, to push for this. It only makes sense if you’re Trump, who needs to punish every single living creature that ever spoke out against him. Fortunately for the GOP, doesn’t seem like there are many GOPers in the senate who are willing to take this project on. |

Hey, if it gets McConnell out, it works for me.  But yes, Trump does have this personal need to destroy everything he touches. Kind of like the opposite of the Midas touch. |
