I'll have to get back to you on this tomorrow! I've never counted the number of times I pee in a day! Does having a really old bladder screw with the normal results?

I'm 74 with an enlarged prostate and get up at night from 3 - 9 times. I go often because I can't hold much. The 9 times are on days with a few too many beers. I usually don't drink anything after 7 pm. During the day I drink a few ounces of water every time I pee. My urine is always light to clear.

Also, because I'm a school teacher, I am well-trained to not pee from when I leave my house at 7:30am to when I return at 5:00pm.

I usually pee 2 or 3 times during the 9 hours at work. Partly just for something to do. I never get up at night to go and drink Diet Pepsi right up until I go to bed.

Treading Water Chloe you are the bladder hero here.
I have no idea how many times I go a day. I'll track tomorrow. I drink a lot of coffee in the morning then ice water during the afternoon. I reduce liquids after dinner so I'm not up at night. On hot days where I exercise, I do toilet twice at night.
After having a week of incontinence after Covid, I don't wait.

Yes, if I'm working outside in the heat, I don't go to the bathroom, I sweat it out. Don't know how many times a day I go to the bathroom, but quite a few.

Depends on how much you are drinking. I generally drink 3 quarts to 1 gallon of water a day. When I am home, I pee constantly. Probably every hour while awake, and usually 1-2 times at night. When I am at work, I am usually busy and put if off longer than I should. Usually at work around 10 hours, and probably go 4 times a day. I cannot even fathom consuming that much water a day! I would explode. Do you drink any other beverages during the day in addition to that or is it all water? Are you drinking that much water because you are truly thirsty for it and enjoy it or because you feel compelled to? Now granted, I probably don't consume enough water some days (and some days its just coffee and wine!), but I think many have gone way overboard with the water intake. When did everyone decide that if a normal amount of hydration is a good thing, MASSIVE quantities of water must be better? I have no desire to slosh when I walk or need to pee hourly. Years ago, I got into the habit of reaching for a water bottle instead of snacks, and it just stuck. It goes down faster than you think, especially if you use a cup with a straw. I wouldn't say I'm that thirsty, but it keeps other habits at bay. On a normal day, I start the morning with herbal tea, followed by a small bottle of diet cranberry juice, and probably an herbal tea in the evening. The rest of the day is water with lemon, lime, ginger, and mint, or at least a combination of.

Yesterday was 11
I had only 1 cup of coffee before tennis. I did think I needed to go at the usual time when I'm playing and just a few drops. I know I'm time scheduled somewhat.
Today and it's noon 6. I have had a lot of coffee. What's frustrating is having to go during church even when I go immediately before. Darn coffee. Some of it is escape whatever is going on.

well, shit. I drink water all day long, easily over 2L, and I'm always peeing. isn't that good, to be flushing the system? I drink 16-20oz of water/crystal light almost every hour. I pee about once an hour.

I used to drink Crystal Light, and then I left a little in the fridge pitcher a few days while I went on a road trip. the things that grew in about three days...🤢 I actually threw the pitcher and the rest of the powder out right then.

In a dry, desert climate, I was given an hydration schedule that said to drink 1 liter before bed. 1 liter on waking and 1/2 to 1 cup of water every hour.
Yes, there was output but it's better than dehydration illness.

Oddly I pee more when I drink less. If I don't drink enough I'm always heading to the bathroom almost like an itch, but I pee very little. I have a 24 oz water bottle, 2-4 of those a day seems to be my comfort zone. Then I pee less often but more each visit. I'd say when I first get up, 2 or 3 times through the day, just before sleep and once through the night.

I have no medical credentials at all but this won't stop me from relating my own experience- years ago I had that problem. I was always carrying a supply of Azo pills around just in case. I think what was happening was that if my urine (oops, I mean Irvine! ) got too concentrated it irritated the tissues somewhere and created that "itch". My liquid intake consisted mostly of coffee at the time. Now I'm careful to make sure I drink plain old water, too, but not in the quantities others have mentioned. I haven't had that issue for years. I also have a stash of "Liquid IV" powder to put in my water bottle for long bike rides so I not only replace water but electrolytes. I pee a lot but I have 3 kidneys so I'm a mutation.
