I had no idea what these planners are capable of doing....(and the person too). So, before I take off to day to see what is out there, do any of you have a do and don't list?
I know about Erin Condren and some others "bloom" and wandered around the Amazon site. I love colors and flowers but also classy things in gold and ivory.
Thanks ladies...

Franklin Covey--which I've personally used-- has lots of choices that are fun (in addition to their original boring ones).
Happy Planner is a highly recommended one that I haven't used.

Before I retired I used a Franklin Covey one. It was one of the fun ones and I loved it!

Oddly enough dollar tree has some planner stickers that I thought were cute. Dd13 didn't like them and dd9 just started keeping a planner this yr so I didn't want to start a ruckus in her class. Dd13 knew which friend would love them so off they went. Friend gave me a big ole huge this week and showed me her cute planner style. Reminded me of chloe here

Now you're tempting me! I do have a good Garden Club calendar, 8 1/2" X 11" when fully spread out. No matter how diligent I am with my phone calendar I really have to have that paper version in front of me. I may need to get a purse-sized onn.

I use a large calendar also. Put appointments and miles for the trip on it. I also put apptmts on my iPhone I have a printout that has monthly payments due - property taxes, insurance payments etc, check when done. Helps to see the entire year by month all on a single page. I just keep a notebook on my desk with my daily to do lists . Cross off when done or just continue for next day (too many!)
I may start another notebook for the charity I’m on Board. We’re doing a lot now
I stopped consulting this spring so my life is very simple now.
When I did consulting, I had another notebook with to dos for each day , or month - more complex. Another notebook for items I was researching, telecon notes etc Similar to a lab notebook
I find the notebooks and calendar helpful to look back when things were done or what was done over the year. I usually throw after my taxes are done as it’s helpful for remembering when doing taxes I’ve tried planners but found them limited or not really helpful

I need a paper one but nothing like I did when I did when I worked at the IRS.
Now I use one similar to what Hallmark stores used to give away for free. I buy two years ones, so I buy one every other year.

I stopped first at Joanne. There was a package etc. that was full of all sorts of goodies for sale @ $10. I think I'll go back and get it tomorrow morning. I thought what Hobby Lobby had looked a little cheap and cheesy. bought a simple one at Staples just in case I decide not to do this at all....
