if the anti-vax folks had not made such a huge, whiny deal about it, I would have been way more sympathetic to them getting utterly fucked, now.

I saw some doctor sent all his patients a letter saying if they weren’t vaccinated they couldn’t be his patients anymore, just let him know and he would send their records wherever they wanted.
There was a stink about that from his former patients, but he wants to avoid exposing himself, his staff and other patients to a potential virus bomb. Since that’s completely preventable, I agree with him.

makes sense to me.
a couple years ago I heard about a company in Canada that was firing smokers. at the time, I kinda resented it. but as an employer, I get it. they are damaging to the entire infrastructure of a business if they are taking health risks outside of work that will jeapordize their performance at work, or shorten their lives (making them a bad long term investment). it is even MORE true with infectious diseases.
