On June 24th I reserved a porta potty for our house for our daughter's wedding weekend. It was a bit of an awkward process as the person who owns the business works only off of her cell phone--no website nor email. It took a week for us to actually make voice connection after playing phone tag.
On June 24th I gave her our credit card number to secure the reservation. I asked her specifically if she needed a deposit or if she would send me a bill. She said she would just take payment then.
The wedding was the weekend of July 24th. The porta potty was delivered at 9pm on Thursday evening and picked up sometime on Tuesday.
It is now August 14th. There is still no charge on my card.
If you've had this type of situation, did you call the company? How long did/would you wait?

Give it a few more days. Some service companies do their billings twice a month. If it doesn’t show up until the 16-17th then just call!

Is the charge pending? That's really how you would know whether the charge was submitted. If it isn't, I would call.

Give it a few more days. Some service companies do their billings twice a month. If it doesn’t show up until the 16-17th then just call! Oh, good point about billing once or twice per month. If the service wasn't provided until July 24th, that could make sense as to why it's not here yet. I'm so used to charges going through or at least pending immediately.

I would wait probably until the end of this week. And I'd follow up once if there's no charge.
