Maybe the next time a mob swarms the Capital, the Capital Police should show the rioters the fastest way to get to their offices?!? (It'd serve them right, joost sayin'...) BTW, I am NOT shocked that Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz are on the list.

From link in reply one: Lawmakers handily passed the legislation. Members of both parties supported it, 406-21, with all of the votes in opposition coming from conservative Republicans.
...
“If they just wanted to give the police recognition, they could have done it without trying to make it partisan, without sticking (the word insurrection) in there,” (Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.)) added Members from both parties voted for it. Members from only one party voted against it. Seems it wasn't "they" making it partisan.

Paul Gosar's brothers called the lawmaker's comments about the Capitol riots 'despicable' and said he was a 'pathological liar'Rep. Paul Gosar's brothers rebuked him after the lawmaker said that a Capitol police officer was "lying in wait" to "execute" Jan. 6 rioter Ashli Babbitt. Tim and David Gosar called the congressman's comments on the Capitol riot "despicable" and apologized "on behalf of the actual sane members of our family" in an interview with CNN on Thursday morning. "Once you lose your focus on the truth, once you become someone that peddles in lies, once you become basically a snake oil salesman, the truth is a really slippery thing to get your arms around," Tim Gosar said during the interview. "It's really hard to go back to the truth once you become a pathological liar like Paul has become." Gosar said during a House hearing this week that the officer who shot and killed Babbitt as she attempted to break through a window in the Capitol "appeared to be hiding, lying in wait and then gave no warning before killing her." The congressman also asserted that the officer, whose identity Gosar demanded be revealed, "executed" Babbitt. Gosar was among 21 House Republicans who this week voted against awarding all law enforcement officers the highest congressional honor for their work protecting the Capitol during the riot. Hmmm... so "Support blue" apparently only applies when it comes to making sure brown people know their place.
Supporting blue does not apply when police get injured and die protecting your lily white ass ass from a public lynching. That doesn't suit the narrative.
Got it. Absolutely disgusting. How do these people look at themselves in the mirror? How do you go about life with absolutely no soul or any kind of moral compass outside of what gets you the most votes?
