Did you know you can access your immunization records online? (If you already knew this, you can stop reading now and return to your normal activities). The records now include COVID vaccines. Maryland Immunization Records

Maybe this explains why My Chart has the date of when my second shot will be when it most certainly was not administered by any Hopkins entity.

Just checked my My Chart file, but there was no information in it about any of my immunizations. I was eligible to receive a vaccine through a Hopkins facility because I spent several days in a Hopkins-affiliated hospital last February, but appointments at Walgreen's were more available (and more convenient), so I went to Walgreen's instead. Maybe there is some connection between wherever you got your vaccine and the Hopkins system, or maybe your health insurer is affiliated with Hopkins? It does seem odd that something not administered by a Hopkins entity would appear on a Hopkins record.

Oh that's the really odd part, dose #1 is not recorded in my chart under immunizations. But the date for dose #2 is there and it's correct. I got mine via the local county health department so I would assume the two are not related. It's under health summary in the preventative care. It says dose two is due 5/X and dose one was administered 4/X. I thought it was completely odd when I saw it.
I have federal insurance the local blue cross.

Clearly I have not been paying attention to the contents of my Hopkins record. The main page is all I've been looking at, and it only has info on my last stay with them. After learning from you just now that the record has even more information, I went back and checked the preventive care section (which I had no idea existed but after reading your comment found hiding behind a tiny little button labeled "more" which I had never noticed before) and discovered that my My Chart COVID vaccine status says "completed" and the dates of both vaccines are listed. So, it looks like Hopkins might be getting data from the health department regarding patients on their roster. Or 5G kicks in after the first dose and we now broadcast our vaccine status and Hopkins was ready and waiting to collect our data. It's still odd, though, for sure.

My state (WI) has had the Vaccine records Public Record for years already. If I had to guess, I would say, I have known about it since DS was about 16 (He is 27 now). I know b/c I could get in and see DD's records but not DS's. DS's name or SS is screwed up, so the record is there if I called the state, but not publicly available. If DS would call them, they could fix it, but DS, being a typical male, does not think it is important, so he never called.
I noticed lately that my test results from one hospital system are showing up on another's records. I am unsure if I have directions on file telling my Endocrinologist to share with my primary, or they are just sharing records via My Chart.
Maybe 15 years ago I got a booster for my MMR b/c I was not sure if I was fully vaccinated for Mumps. Now my My Chart record keeps telling me I need to get a MMR shot. I have been ignoring it, because I think it does not know I had two shots as a kid.
