I had my second shot Wednesday morning. Wednesday night - Friday morning I thought I was going to die/maybe just hoped to. Crazy freezing cold, burning hot, ached everywhere. I am still very weak. My whole system is out of whack. Anything in my stomach gives me diarrhea. I have a huge red area below the injection that itches like crazy. But I won't itch it, because it is tender and hot. So what about you? If this is a yearly thing, I will wait for less side effects.

If I may ask, which version of the vaccine did you receive? We're still waiting for "our turn".

DH and I both had Moderna. After the second one, I slept probably 25 hours of the following 36. I was achy, but I never had the chills/fever
DH wasn’t as tired, but he had massive chills.

Wife had covid about 8 months ago. First shot was 4 weeks ago and hit her very hard, she was sick for a few days after (nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, etc) . 2nd shot was a few days ago and just tiredness, mostly said she just felt about 80% of her normal energy level for the day after.

Moderna, 2nd shot was sore arm. But I fell on ice on way to get shot and badly sprained ankle and knee. So I spent several days on couch in pain, but it didn’t seem like anything was from the shot. Arm was less painful than leg.

Family friend had second Pfizer last week- a few chills that night but otherwise no effects.
Dad had second Moderna on Friday - no side effects so far.
Mom had second Moderna yesterday - nothing so far but will report if that changes.
ETA: A day after her second Moderna shot, my mom had a slight fever (99.5) most of the day but was otherwise fine.

My husband had no problems with the second shot. He may have been a little tired, but he didn't seem more tired than usual. He worked a full day and made dinner - all without a nap. He even forgot to complain for most of those hours.

My DH has had both his shots, Moderna...no side effects either time. I've had my first shot & had minor chills/fever and no energy the first & second days after the shot. I also had Moderna. Hoping I don't have anything after my second shot.

Both first and second were Pfizer and all I experienced both times was a sore arm. My Mother had her first Pfizer and also only a sore arm, we shall see with her 2nd dose.
