I would have gone the wig route too. Acetone is no joke, she's not lying about it burning her skin depending on how much and how long it was on her scalp.

Just read an article about a guy using Gorilla glue on a cup to his mouth to prove the lady was being overly dramatic. He ended up in hospital.
don't have a link .....

I used to use it as nail polish remover (my dad brought it home from work). That's your nails though. Not your skin. The skin on your scalp is very thin. Also you weren't likely using it in the amounts they put on her head. You're not supposed to soak yourself in it. It's not as dangerous as some other chemicals but can cause damage just like any other can.

I'm really not understanding how she didn't just have her hair cut off. It looked like it was glued to her scalp.

I'm really not understanding how she didn't just have her hair cut off. She did cut off the ponytail. But it's not like the hair was just glued to other hair; I'm sure the hair was glued directly to her scalp as well and no way to get a scissors under it to cut it off. I feel for her. She did something dumb, she suffered more than enough for it, and she eventually got help. People have donated to go-fund-me's much dumber than this one. I could never withstand that kind of public scrutiny and criticism that she did. For what it's worth, she also said she's not planning to sue, she doesn't know where that rumor came from.

The only source I see reporting that she hired a lawyer and is "weighing her legal options" is TMZ citing an unnamed source. I couldn't find anything citing a lawyer's name, or a statement issued by her lawyer.
Also, she's donating $20k from the Go-Fund-Me account to a charity run by the plastic surgeon. She's a more charitable person than me. I wouldn't have been able to resist that, according to my Phil Script, a lump sum investment of $20,000.00 bearing an annual return of 11% could grow to $457,845.93 in 30 years!

I was wondering if they could just shave the hair off, but wouldn’t there still be glue stuck to the scalp?
