clark- can we do mutual funds, here? I am getting a little tired of the high opening prices on Monday. it diminishes returns, as a general rule, for stocks that are on the move. by EOD Monday, I generally see a settling price that is about what I would want to pay. the only issue is that it would delay your posting of results until the mutual funds register their Friday results.

djAdvocate I really don't have a problem with using the EOD Monday settling price for a mutual fund if no one else objects. We could try it on a trial basis.

kadee76 I found two symbols for Core Lithium Ltd. One was CXO.AS and the other CXOXF. Please let me know if one of these is the symbol you had in mind or if there is another.

Clark, the CXOXF is the one. I had found it only using the CXO, but when I looked further, then is when the XF part showed up. Thank you.

Clark, I agree...it's not right. MSN has the closing at 0.345...so only a little increase. Their whole site is messed up so I can't check another way...only what it says in one place.
ETA...Now I don't know...where I trade...Firstrade...has it closing at 1.99 today too.

clark- I don't want to interrupt, here- but there is a problem with Core. trading was suspended in Australia on Monday-Wednesday. it is trading right now at midday at AU$0.325 I have no idea what the pink sheets will say, but I think what happened is that during the trading halt, you were getting false indicators on the stock.
technically, it opened at $3.25 on TUESDAY this week, but I really don't think it is fair to Kaydee to make that her entry price, since it was not officially trading that day. some imbicile paid that money for it. really, you should look at what it opens at TOMORROW on the OTC, and then check the opening Friday (which will be close of business for Auistralia) for a confirmation.
having said that, this one is your call- but I see NO TRADES IN THE US at $0.28 on Monday OR Tuesday. it opened at AU$.29 on THURSDAY in Australia, and is now trading at AU$0.32, which is +10%:
bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=au%3Acxo&insttype=&freq=1&show=&time=4
here is information on the voluntary suspension:
www.fool.com.au/2021/02/03/shares-in-core-lithium-asxcxo-enter-voluntary-suspension/
side note: this suspension would normally reduce share prices, since it was a capital raising campaign. like I say, some dummy paid $3.25 for shares that were not worth 1/10th that, but that should NOT, imo, reflect on kaydee. the stock was suspended at the time.

Congrats Uncle.
Thank you for getting that all straightened out Clark. What a mess it's been. I was going to buy some...now I'm not so sure. It is one of those that I would buy & forget about for a couple years.

Well, my big mistake this week. Several times I've selected APPS for this contest. Didn't do it this week; Look at what it did today. However, I do own some....for a long time. ARCH.
(2:20am/Fri./Tex.time/5 Feb.2021) Sal, well I declare ….. I thought Clark was already on the Supreme Court. Arch.

kadee76 you have a knack for finding stocks that greatly out perform although they are sometimes extremely volatile. If you do buy any CXOXF, I would make sure it was a limit order. Also, it would probably be a concern due to the low volume it might be hard to exit the position. This is just a game but we can occasionally learn something by playing. You are definitely a POTW hall of famer.

NOTE TO ALL: liquidity on the pink sheets is normally pretty good, but NOT OF THE STOCK IS HALTED. you need to make sure that there are no trading restrictions in the home country before you buy or sell, and try to use LIMIT orders rather than MARKET, or you can end up way overpaying for stuff.
