Since Marge has become BFFs with McCarthy, she’s been swanning around DC like she owns the place - showing her tail in congressional meetings, running her mean girl mouth against pretty much everyone who isn’t a McCarthy toady. Now she’s calling for a civil war so the Red States can form their own patriotic country, and the blue states can become Democratic commie states. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/marjorie-taylor-greene-roundly-condemned-after-calling-for-a-national-divorce-on-twitter-the-sedition-caucus/ar-AA17IUMH?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=e9e12b4b2ee047ad8a16641e859ef0f7Now, I would welcome the opportunity to lose the Red states (not through a civil war, though) but I wonder if Marge realizes that a) Red states get more federal handout money than they take in through taxes, and b) Georgia, Marge’s state, isn’t a blue state anymore. It’s got two Democratic senators and voted for Biden in the last election. It’s a purple state. So I guess Marge is ok with moving out of Georgia in order to live in her red state utopia.

“I said the president may be a Democrat but he’s still the president of the United States and they made him look like a fool and made him look weak the week before the State of the Union — I’ve said that publicly, too — by not shooting it down,” Ms Greene said. “And I said there was nothing I heard there today that gave me any confidence in what they did.” I am reminded of my old enlisted service days when guys would sit around and bitch about how the officers didn't know what they were doing. ...said Ms. Green of Jewish Space Laser fame. While looking for support and protection from the gazpacho police

Am I the only one wondering if she's not sleeping with McCarthy given her new attitude? She's proven she'll sleep with just about anyone at this point.

We don't need a civil war - I'm sure it could be peacefully arranged. Most of the Red States get more Federal money than they pay in taxes which means they get a lot of Blue State money. I live in a Blue State. It might be nice to keep more of that Federal money paid in taxes here in my own State. I'm kind of for getting rid of the free loading "sucking the government teat" states. I'm just wondering what the Blue States will do with all the refugees from this "new country" as they attempt to escape the new levels of poverty and joblessness they find themselves in. Maybe we could build a wall.

What would be reasonable terms if they wanted a "divorce"?
National debt?
Military asset division?
Social Security obligations? (Particularly interesting with them likely ending it on their side of things.)
Other terms?

They have full parental custody of MTJ, Trump, and a few others and we completely give up visitation rights.

I wished that I would see less of Trump when surfing the internet. It seems like the media has now given some of his online space to MTG.

Does MTG realize students from 'her' state might not meet the requirements to attend colleges and universities with high entry standards? No she does not. And commerce in 'her' state might be destroyed by such a move.

Your mistake is that you think they want their precious offspring to go to those places. If they go there, they might realize they live is shut hole places and not come back

Degree then done for them.

Marge also wants to prevent people moving from blue states to red states to not be able to vote for at least five years so they can overcome their brainwashing.
I need to drop her a note. I’ve lived in her very red district for 25 years and I’m bluer than I was when I moved here.

You have to wonder if she has ever read any of the constitution. She seems to propose a whole lot of unconstitutional ideas. She needs to brush up on how to amend the constitution

It would possibly be one way to turn the Lone Star state blue very fast once they realize they are on their own supporting all those " independence from the liberal elite" states on their own

I have to wonder, too, how hard it would be to pull business into a state with no public education and enforced pregnancy.
It’s already hard in the city where my company is located because the public schools are poorly rated - upper middle class and wealthy people pay for the private schools. Hard to bring out of state employees in.

Maybe people should have to live in the district they want to represent for five years before they can run for office. IIRC, that would leave MTG out.

So - no federal programs, one way or another. But lower federal taxes for everyone. Federal courts are dissolved - including SCOTUS? Also, each state could do an actual vote for abortion access. Maybe each state could get involved in the federal budgeting process and we could shrink some of the military programs. Seems like a nightmare, with vast complicated consequences. The economy would be a disaster and the constitution would become toothless and then obsolete. Companies would consolidate operations and avoid other states. Remote work might be impossible. States would be at war with themselves to find a new balance. I guess if your only business experience is to run a local gym, you can’t fully understand corporate America.

Marge is complaining that she and her team went to eat at a restaurant and some woman started harassing her. In public!! Being rude!!!
If you haven’t seen it yet, look for the video where she followed David Hoag, school shooting victim and activist, (and just a high schooler at the time) haranguing him for the TV cameras (she was a candidate at the time).
I’ll look it up and post it when I get home.
The hypocrisy is rampant in this one.
