The tax board doesn't have as much traffic as the YM, so I am posting here. Anyone gotten their snail mail refund back from NC and if so when did you file?

It took close to 4 weeks for my electronic deposit. I'd imagine snail mail would be slower

Well, we filed paper for one thing. The other problem, people had not gotten some refunds from a few years ago. So the state said 'well, we will just keep them.' These weren't unclaimed taxes, they just hadn't been sent out, I THINK. I can't say for sure. The governor said 'no we will send them out with a small amount of interest. But no letter of explanation.' Didn't want to confuse people.

It was taxes from a few years ago that were owed. Not 2010.
