I came across this on another forum and thought I would pass it along. The website shows you how to make a small doortop safe to stash your valuables in when you might be on vacation. Once the page loads, scroll down 4 photos to the text and click 'this trick' and that will take you to the free plans and instructions. Oh, when I saw the title of the thread I was wondering how my door top was dangerous LOL. Same here, LOL. Yeah it's a good idea, but useless once everybody knows about it, especially thiefs.

I have read here and there that most thieves want to get in and out as quickly as possible. Plus, unless the thief is very tall, they would need to set up a step ladder to get to this.
