Well...We moved to a new house...and we all decided to stick together. It has been a privilege to get to know you good people. The last couple of years have been anything but dull. Special thanks goes to the mods and especially Virgil for making the mechanics connect the new with the old.

20th century transitions to liberal democracy have come in successive "waves of democracy," variously resulting from wars, revolutions, decolonization, religious and economic circumstances. World War I and the dissolution of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires resulted in the creation of new nation-states from Europe, most of them at least nominally democratic.

In the 1920s democracy flourished, but the Great Depression brought disenchantment, and most of the countries of Europe, Latin America, and Asia turned to strong-man rule or dictatorships. Fascism and dictatorships flourished in Nazi Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as nondemocratic regimes in the Baltics, the Balkans, Brazil, Cuba, China, and Japan, among others.[45]

The original idea was to give some people freedom from tyranny. NOT ALL. So technically the original idea of the US has been dying since it began. It took from 1788 to 1965 before the constitution fully recognized that African people were part of the US. The US has been influence by others just as it has influenced others.

The Kman family has been blessed with a family from Benin West Africa. They helped my wife out in her time of need, when her mother was sick.Their great kindness to our family Is one of the most gracious acts. ( They hug more than Italians) French speaking Roman Catholic...They know nothing of the struggle of African Americans. It is a great sadness, that our history has created.

It is, however, these men where only doing what they knew. It was started with good ideas; that is why it succeeds.
If the ideas weren't what the earth wanted; it wouldn't have given us the ideas in the first place. It wouldn't have given "WE" the strength to break off and started a country based on these ideas. After elitists buried, and killed them for 1000 yrs. Then attacked them for the next 700ish.
They took about 150 yrs to steep and let "US" all get a taste of. Then spread almost the entire way around the world in 60!. Not to mention that we are looking at a nation that is ready to explode if some more of these ideas dont become reality for them......
