Yeah, right.......... It's a pieced belly button, with a glittery bunny charm. If you need to see a vulva, I can pm you with some pic's.

mmhmm- your kneading kitten is too darn cute. It's the rapid flashing/spinning avatars that were the problem. And I like trix's belly charm.

I love the little kitten. Looks soooo peaceful! Still, I didn't want it up here if it was causing anyone a problem. There are lots of avatars. For the most part, the bright, high-contrast, flashing ones are the ones that really get to people, but I'd seen someone say any moving avatar tended to give them a headache and wasn't sure if my kitten might be one of them.

fyi, i have added a few new avatars into the dropdown list .. and removed the flashing one that was such a problem. Most flashing doesn't bother me even the avatar that seemed to be the source of the problems. But I have gotten an ad at the top of my screen that is flashing like crazy and bright loud colors lately. I don't have problems like this and yet this ad hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. Is there a way to report it to you or PB while I am on the page? Since the ads change so much I wouldn't know how to let them know exactly which ad it is otherwise. It is the one that says you are the 1000 something and has flashing strobe type lights going around the border if you would like to know.

The following types of advertisements are not allowed by ProBoards: * Ads which automatically play audio * Ads that automatically expand to larger than their normal size * Any and all popup ads * Ads which attempt to install software/malware on your computer If you come across an advertisement that violates our rules, immediately press CTRL+ALT+R on your keyboard and fill out the form which pops up. This will send ProBoards the information we need to investigate the issue.

For those of you that don't like moving or flashing emotes or avatars, or if it can cause medical problems, you can disable animations without having to give either up. They will just not be moving. I never could figure out what everybody was talking about when we first came over here because nothing moved on my screen. DH figured out my animations were turned off. That's how I learned about it. Just a suggestion.

I couldn't tell them what ad etc obviously as my anti virus kids me out but I could give them the time and board type stuff and they fixed it! I don't know how but I haven't been kicked out for antivirus stuff since. You are all thrilled, right?

I had a flashing one the last Board I was on, but I didn't know it was so bad. That was until I got a new computer and was nearly laid flat by the damn thing. So on one computer one thing on another computer something entirely monstrous.

Perhaps an update to this opening post could include ALL rapidly flashing or blinking pictures - not just Avatars.

Absolutely, SL! I'd think that would go without saying, but you're right! If an small avatar can cause problems for someone, a larger picture would probably be even worse.

I have had several migrains while on this board. Now that we can hide avatars, it is easier - so I have mmhmm's kitty hidden, as well as others that move. The board is much better now that fewer people have scrolling tagline in the footer.

Well some people seem to need being reminded not to use them - yet they continue to - so maybe if it's in writing, it will help cut down on their use. I know I've had my seizure symptoms triggered a few times lately from some of the flashy/blinky pics and I've had to leave the boards for a few hours to recoup.

Yeah I absolutely agree with a no overly blinking, bouncing rule on here. Peeps are getting seizures, migraines & headaches from posts, that has to stop.

I see that some (even after reading this thread) are still continuing with the big glittery/blinky pics on some threads.
