I know I am late and a dollar short on this, but did anyone watch the Sunday tournament? Had to be the best golf tournament shown in years. One commentator stated the winner of the Masters starts their move on Sunday on the back nine. Well, it had all the fireworks going for it, and several could have won the tournament. Great Golf!
My heart did hurt for Rory. Three days of error free golf, and he could not hold the first seven holes together and folded. That could have been me with the seven on the par four. Well, maybe I would have had a ten, but I did feel for him. Tiger had to be really upset. If he could hit three foot putts, he would have won by about four strokes. Between Saturday and Sunday, he missed about five of them.

I enjoy the Masters more than any other golf major. CBS does such a hankerchief moment explaining the history of it from Bobby Jones down thru the years, and I fall for it everytime. I also think it has to do when I was a child. My father never golfed, and outside of the Masters, never really watched it on tv. One year, I asked him why he watches this tournament every year. He said, I don't really know. Never been on a golf course. I know it is a heck of a sport to master, and few do, but I do remember what Bobby Jones did for the game when I was growing up. He was a true Master of the sport, and this is his legacy. He developed the course, and invited the first contestants. That and the fact Anold Palmer is leading!" We had many Sundays, year after year after that, where we watched it together. Good Memories
