Hoping you are high & dry & not in any danger from the hurricane. Has anyone been in contact with him?

( 9:45pm/ Sat/ Tex.timr/ 29 Aug. 2020 ) Kadee, I think I'm who you're asking about; even though you misspelled my handle... LOL.. Yes, this storm was amazing. Very unpredictable. I kept looking at the maps on Nat. Wx. service sites. The center line ( forecast ) kept appearing just about the State line between Texas & Louisianna. And as an old air force jet pilot we know that low pressure areas (storms)….the circulation movement of air is always counter-clockwise ...whereas a high pressure area, the circulation of air is clockwise. So, it's simple to know that if you're on the left side of a storm. the storm is moving north; but the circular pattern is moving south …… minimizing the severity of the storm. HOWEVER, IF YOU'RE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE STORM. THE DIRECTION OF THE STORM IS NORTHBOUND; AND THE DIRECTION OF WIND ( OF THE STORM IS ALSO NORTHBOUND )….. making the storm much much worse than folds on the west side. I stepped outside a few time, when the storm was moving north ( had just come inland )… Our winds were very very minor; I could not believe a storm was coming......Winds never got bad; but the photos next day showed the BIG DIFFERENCE between Louisianna nnd Texas. We were so fortunate !!!!!!!!! Thanks for your thoughts, …… gave me a chance to talk about weather that we air force pilots had learned during our training classes. I kept it very brief. ADIOS. ARCH.
