Long XME (mining etf - mining)

I was going to sit out this week; but a few minutes ago saw a couple of

news items about this new stock.

Clark, I hope it's a legal stock & a legal pick.

         Verify this comment: (Mon./17 Aug. 2020 ). I just looked at BigChart's graph.

         ( 2 day )  It traded about 4 hours Fri. ( up 259% First day trading was Friday.)

          Clark, you know I would never question a Math professor's numbers.

          The first trade ever on this stock (CVAC ) was just a few hours at the end of

          the day Friday. It's also a German company. My guess is it may go thru the

          ceiling or get "buried"..... We'll let the numbers decide.

I think this is the third time this stock has been picked this year.

I have had a long losing streak on this board, so maybe someone should play this short.

having said that, I am having a really good year, and I hope everyone else is, too.

dj...............might be worth the risk of a few C at this price to test the market for a few months.  Could be a triple IF they find some good uranium deposits.  Get in near the startup may prove profitable.  It's CHEAP under a dollar.  (Just a thought).

architecto25, Yahoo historical had Friday's open for CVAC at $44.00 and the close at 55.90. Stockcharts had the same. Bigcharts had the same.

my reasoning on this one is that it went public at C$1.20, when Uranium was around C$25. now Uranium is C$40.  this is different than the Uranium Trust (URPTF), which invests DIRECTLY in the metal. this is a leveraged asset. it should have AT LEAST twice the sensitivity of the metal. knowing that, this equity should be selling for (1.2)(40^2/25^2)= C$3. that would be roughly equal to $US2.25.

now, it is POSSIBLE that the equity was overvalued when it went public. IPO's often ARE overvalued. but assuming the valuation was about right, this one should be in line for a clean double, even at $US1.00.

NOTE: there is NO reporting on this company so far. so it is a "risk investment". having said that, I expect that their first reports will be amazing, given the timing of the IPO, which beat the spike in Uranium by less than 30 days.
