Isn't that what the sun looks like when you are under water and look up?
I hope a very nice girl fish came along and was impressed enough by the design to chat and get to know and to stay with the boy fish.

I hope a very nice girl fish came along and was impressed enough by the design to chat and get to know and to stay with the boy fish. She may or may not like it. She may demand modifications. Once the puffer is done building (which can take 7 days, 24 hrs a day), a lady fish with eggs comes by to inspect it. She likes it but wants some modifications and leaves. He flattens out the middle like she wants, then she comes back & gives her approval. They do a little dance cheek to cheek & that’s how he fertilizes her eggs. She then lays the eggs in the middle of the crop circle and takes off. It’s now his job to stir the eggs for a week so that they’re always covered with the soft sand. -PBS |
