Bagel Burgers

Try using a toasted bagel for a hamburger bun sometime. It can hold up to a juicy beef patty, and you can add flavor with your choice of bagel.

I see you used 'everything on it' bagels for your burger. If you cannot find those type of bagels in your local store, you can buy some Everything but The Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend at Trader Joe's to sprinkle on your bagel or anything you would like.

You can also get the same seasoning at Aldi. I don't know how it compares to the Trader Joe's kind, but the Aldi one has a LOT of garlic.

I don’t do buns but maybe I’ll sprinkle a little everything seasoning directly on my burger next time!

I found the Everything seasoning at TJMax, Marshals, or Tuesday Morning - been so long I can't remember which one but it was a lot cheaper than from grocery store here. It's good on all kinds of stuff if you aren't afraid to experiment

You bought it at the general store in Walnut Grove, Minnessota.  That's where you first met the Ingalls family and became a classmate of Laura.   Remember?

You ever read up on the history of her family?

Apparently her dad was not a good YMAMer, and kind of a deadbeat. 

Her books were an idealized version of her childhood (nothing wrong with that), because they moved often to avoid his debts.

I saw a docu way back about her and family! I remember that about her dad. They would have starved if not for her. As for you Tennesseer I’m not quite that old and never been to Minnesota
