Thank you for sharing this. One of the most invidious things about this disease is that persons close to someone with it are often forced into self-isolation or quarantine themselves and they enter that state with only the communication mechanisms and contacts that they already have. It can be very difficult to get the word out that this thing is real when you are not able to leave the house or even get tested yourself.
I want to encourage as many people as possible to scream that this thing is real.
If that mucks up my message of condolence, so be it. Let's honor the deceased by being transparent about what killed them.

I’m so sorry, Rukh. And you are absolutely correct. Just because stay at home orders are being lifted does not mean the threat is over. Far from it. We cannot let down our guard until an effective vaccine is available to everyone who wants it.

Sorry for your loss. Scary how many people think it is over now. People ready to get a hair cut or shop without mask, send the kids to visit grandparents. Death and long painful illness crushing one family at a time so it seems to be not an issue anymore. Opening restaurants, beaches, hair salons will put more at risk. Most of us don't even know anyone who caught it so it doesn't seem real, when the media stops covering deaths and cases daily more will die and more get sick.
Over 100K dead but out of 330 million it isn't enough we are all affected personally. My state is losing less than 10 a day lately, 7 yesterday, nobody I know but still major loss to those families.
The rioters don't seem afraid to be in crowds, more will die of Covid than violence, and spread it to family and friends and essential workers. To bad taking a knee didn't work to get the police under control, cleaning their own house.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish people would take this virus a lot more seriously. I STILL have relatives who think it's a hoax, or nothing serious, which is very troubling. May your fond memories bring you comfort.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish people would take this virus a lot more seriously. I STILL have relatives who think it's a hoax, or nothing serious, which is very troubling. May your fond memories bring you comfort. Please...we now have large crowds in major cities across this country. Either we are going to have one hell of a break out from the riots or it will have actually been overblown. Only time will tell. And I was someone that took Covid extremely seriously. Rukh, very sorry for your loss.
