I posted this in politics, but I wonder your thoughts. A WH male asst to trump tested positive yesterday for CV19. The WH says they tested trump right after they found out and he was negative. I've heard different reports about people testing neg only later to become positive as the virus has 7-14 days incubation period (if that's the correct word).
What are your thoughts?

Incubation period is up to 14 days. They need to go back to the last contact trump had with him and start the count from there. If he had recent contact, a negative test does not mean he is in the clear. Theoretically, if he had close contact with the valet, he should quarantine for 14 days and wear a mask, regardless of what the test says. Doubt he will do it though. Problem with testing is people get a false sense of security. You turn from negative to positive at some point. Unless you are tested every day, you don’t know
