so my CPA efiled my tax refund approx. 3/19.
the where is my refund tool shows me still processing and refers me to tax topic 152, which has nothing to do with my specific situation
I did request paper check, rather than DD
anyone else in a similar situation? |

IRS was pretty much shutdown due to Covid until critical workers were called back last Monday. Some had been working from home in district offices.
A direct deposit would already be in your account.
My guess is paper checks are taking a while between having to deal with the stimulus payments and tax returns.
You have verified the return has been received. There is nothing more you can do since the return is processing.
