Hogan Great leader. Head of the National Governors Association. Moderate Republican in a largely Democrat state. Second term. trump Lacks leadership. Attacking people is about all he does. Fires people on TV and as POTUS. Gets on TV everyday and brags about himself. Didn't trump tell the governors they were on their own?

I'd consider it a badge of honor to be criticized by "he who inhabits the White House". Not that he ever takes responsibility for anything. And yes, there is still a shortage of kits, and places open to being tested. Our local news just had a story about a woman who's suspected she's had it for 2 weeks (she's got a nasty cough!) and she can't get anyone to test her.

Every nutjob thing Donny does edges him closer to being sent packing in November.
I'd be more worried if his briefings became sane and rational.

Anyone else feeling that Trump's recent tweets and partial retreat regarding immigration was a fit of pique aimed at Hogan's wife?

he should be applauded. but that means, of course Trump should be booed. and he will never stand for that. Worse, it means Trump is exposed as a liar. He claims there is plenty of testing for anyone who wants a test - this is 100% a lie, which is why Hogan had to purchase his own tests to protect his state.

Trump claimed all Hogan had to do was 'ask' for more testing - he said the NIH was right there in his state and could have provided the testing. Hogan said he DID ask the NIH and for a month he's heard crickets.
The problem is, Trump is looking at test equipment that can do x tests per hour, and Trump extrapolates that to how many tests, theoretically, we could do. But to do the tests you need test kits - the swabs, the reagents, etc and those are in short supply, so some of those pieces of equipment are only working at about 10% capacity. Trump needs to look at actual testing done, not how much testing, theoretically, could be done if all the testing capacity was being used.
But he's a guy who has spent his life inflating what he wants to maximize and minimizing everything else. I don't think he can look at anything anymore and see reality, only his own version of reality.

Just more proof that trump is an uninformed cry baby. Yet he's smarter then anyone else on every subject. Obviously no one in his camp will stop the daily campaign speeches or teach him some truth. I think the GOP knows they have a loser now and will run another smear campaign to get him elected. I just hope enough past trumpers now get him.
