she would make a good VP choice, too. No. I think she's perfectly capable, but again, the polarization. Please, not another Obama. We need a boring middle of the road person. But not as boring as Hillary's VP choice. I think he was a mistake.

My theory: Candidates tend to pick someone kinda opposite - those that have been in DC forever tend to pick a state politician. Those that are old and established pick someone young and energetic. If they are young and fresh, they bring on the wise old experienced owl. If they are a governor, they pick someone from DC. If that is true, Klobachar doesn't fit. She’s young and she’s a woman. That’s quite opposite. But even better she is well known in that area of the country that Hillary ignored last time.... Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio etc. Shares the values of the voters in those key states. Not young, and more than a decade in the Senate isn't a significantly different POV from Joe. I like Amy a lot. I would rather be voting for her than Joe. And you can justify why you think 60 is young. I'm cool if she gets the VP slot, I just think she is not a slam dunk. I also think she is very valuable in the Senate. Losing that seat would be a big deal, as Democrats need every vote they can get over there. There are pros and cons for Amy being picked.

I think he was a mistake. If sanders hadn't been a jerk she likely would have picked him for party unity, and won. bernie bros can suck rocks now.

I couldn't even remember who Hilary's running mate was. I had to google it.

He kinda looked like a friend of mine, and me and that friend were in a big fight at the time, so I have a bad association with Tim Kaine - unfair to him, but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
