We all, where ever u are from, have these small unique neighborhood areas, small businesses which have served our communities for years...not big box cookie cutter establishments..but small unique ones... Like the one's depicted here that serves free morning coffee to the neighborhood less fortunate ...or trades coffee for fresh cut flowers, yet so many will not be reopening when this crises is over...just one of the many changes that our country will face. Another, not covered by the article but something that came to mind a few days out of no where...When businesses start reopening and workers long out of work and starving for funds flock to apply for those first jobs...employers, too in financial trouble, will be tempted to low ball those applying workers with lower salaries...and with so many applying for jobs...workers having to settle for low wages...Just saying. ------------------------------------------------------------------- www.courant.com/coronavirus/hc-news-coronavirus-hartford-west-end-business-20200404-v4t5p3z4tbehpkcx545p2zqpfy-story.html

It's sad. Really. I hate to think of a town with no, or few small, private businesses. They are already getting to be few in the city I live in.

There will be small businesses which close to never reopen. But there will be people who take the opportunity to open their own new small businesses to fill a void.
