I really have no idea how to play it this week. it is hard to tell whether the market will show the relative optimism of last week, or fall into another panic. I will watch the international markets tomorrow night and take my cue from that, I guess.

Good morning. I am going to have to short one of my own holdings this week, which, kills me...... CVX, Chevron, short. Oil markets are still going south this morning, and CVX had a heck of a positive run last week off their new low. I expect they might retest the low this week and even beyond. And this is with the index futures actually in positive territory as of this moment, with CVX being part of the DOW I may not come close to the volitility % of some of the other traders this week, but I could be down 15 to 20% if it trades up, or I could be positive with the short call for about the same %. This game twists my stomach more than the actual markets because we are forced to make a choice some of us would never do in real life  CVX, short If it hits $52 a share this week, I will probably buy 200 shares to sit on. Or not! No guts, no glory. How low can you go   |

Arch, CPTA is an interesting pick. Think long at this time is very iffy.`
I sold my port position in it a month ago and bought EFC as replacement. Was a bjt shy of holding it in the current environment. Even EFC will probably take a long time to recover 3x its current ask of 6. But, it's a long term hold.

And NUGT was up today...5.89%...did you see that DJ? gold is acting really weird. the underlying miners are acting even weirder.
TLT was up today. it is acting weird, too.
like I said on Sunday, I really don't know what to buy.
KORU was also way the hell down.
