There is talk about delaying the due date for tax payments to be made. Reportedly, one will be able to delay the payment of up to $1,000,000 in tax until July 15 without interest or penalty. Does anyone know first if this is definite or are details still being worked out? Also, if you have already set up a payment to be drawn from your checking account on April 15 is it possible to change the date and have the payment drawn on July 15? I have a large payment due and while I can make it now, it would be nice to delay. Thanks.

Up to a million? If you owe a million in taxes, you should pay it. Sheesh.

this is really super helpful to me, personally.
I had an incredible year last year, but I only prepaid about half my taxes.
my amount due is STILL more than I have ever paid.
so, yes, this is very welcome timing.
