Rules:

3. Starting price is the opening price on first trading day of week.
4. Ending price is closing price on last trading day of week.
5. No options or other trading vehicles. Only stocks and ETFs are allowed.
6. Opening prices will be those found at Yahoo Finance. Any disputed opening price will be resolved using the price listed at Yahoo Finance historical quotes

Short QQQ (Nasdaq 100 etf and our benchmark) The chart with the weekly bars is still not oversold. Valuations are fair for a normal economy but there are businesses that are shutting down. The entertainment industry is shutting down almost all live events. The national health experts are recommending people to avoid travel, restaurants, bars, etc. Until the trend is to reopen shut down business I can't see a reason to be bullish on stocks. schrts.co/NRPePkVN |

right you are, clark.
the SP500 PE is 18. historical MEAN is 15.
that means that we have 15% or so to go before we reach AVERAGE valuations.
look out below.
I probably don't need to say more, but I am going to. for over a decade now, people have been talking about these multiples as if they were the new norm. but I just don't buy it. it is not NORMAL to have stocks trading at 20x earnings. that is simply not normal, it never has been, and it shouldn't be. it is too rich a price to pay.
but I am a value guy. so this has just irritated me for decades. this idea.
