A good president maintains cordial relationships with other leaders of the world, communicates regularly, maintains an awareness of their current thinking and opinions. Too bad that Bernie won't be able to manage that part of the job.
That is one of the problems of 'lifer' politicians who have never held real jobs. In business corporations, leaders meet with each other to work toward mutually satisfactory compromises. The Left-Leaners seem to be missing that talent.
It seems that the Donalds way of communicating with other leaders is to either physically force them out of the way as he did that first meeting of country leaders in Europe or to bully and threaten them..at this time more economically though also at times "promising death and destruction like the world has never seen" Now have to admit, that will get someone's attention and get ones butt to pucker up when the worlds strongest military country's leader says that..

... In business corporations, leaders meet with each other to work toward mutually satisfactory compromises. ... Okay, that might generally be true. But I found this: The Trump Organization is a group of about 500 business entities of which Donald Trump is the sole or principal owner. link Is there any evidence of a time when Donald Trump was in a corporation in which he had to "work towards mutually satisfactory compromises" instead of being the "sole or principal owner"?

by this standard, Trump is maybe the worst president ever.

this is just strange, phil.
first of all, when corporations meet toward mutually satisfactory compromises, it is generally really bad, particularly if they are in the same industry.
secondly, of the 4-6 presidents with business backgrounds, fully half of them are among the worst presidents in US history.
so, yeah, color this liberal as being confused about the merits of this "talent" that you seem to feel is important.

Oh wow, I bet that scared Putin!! The intel community tells trump that Putin is attempting to influence the election to his benefit, and Trump insists it's a dirty lie because Putin promised he would never do that and fires one of the lead intel agency heads because the guy dared to state the obvious. Sanders gets told the Russians are also attempting to help him win the Dem nomination and Sanders responses by threatening the Russians for interfering in the election. Does anything strike you about those two responses?

Which one of the Russian influence social media posts is going to cause you to vote for Trump again?? Still insistent on being an idiot? Gotta admire the dedication, I guess. Since the Left insists that it was Russian influence that let Trump win the election,
I am wondering which one was so powerful that it caused you to vote for Trump?

All of this has been explained to you a hundred times. You either don't care about being viewed as the dumbest person on the board, or you are in fact the dumbest person on the board. Care to enlighten us, or do we need to explain what "enlighten" means?

Oh wow, I bet that scared Putin!! Do you think we, as a country, should try and stop Russia, or any other government from meddling in our elections? The question is NOT if it happened, or who it helped, but in general, should we safeguard our elections? Investigate possible interference? Ask other countries to stop? Force other countries to stop? Acknowledge it may (or may not) be happening?

Maybe we could (a) ask our intelligence that have evidence and (b) investigate to find out.

How are you going to stop them? Oh. You have totally changed my mind. We are just a weak-ass country that can't stop any other country on earth from fucking with us, so, you are right, we should just roll over and show our belly and let them do whatever they want. Such a great idea, based on a firm grasp of the truth about our country's power and position on this earth.

Intelligence agencies don't generally publish all their work product to the public. For super obvious reasons. And, they have given examples - you just chose not to even consider what they are saying.

Russia Backs Trump’s Re-election, and He Fears Democrats Will Exploit Its SupportA classified briefing to lawmakers angered the president, who complained that Democrats would “weaponize” the disclosure. WASHINGTON — Intelligence officials warned House lawmakers last week that Russia was interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get President Trump re-elected, five people familiar with the matter said, in a disclosure that angered Mr. Trump, who complained that Democrats would use it against him. The day after the Feb. 13 briefing to lawmakers, Mr. Trump berated Joseph Maguire, the outgoing acting director of national intelligence, for allowing it to take place, people familiar with the exchange said. Mr. Trump cited the presence in the briefing of Representative Adam B. Schiff, the California Democrat who led the impeachment proceedings against him, as a particular irritant. During the briefing to the House Intelligence Committee, Mr. Trump’s allies challenged the conclusions, arguing that Mr. Trump has been tough on Russia and strengthened European security. Some intelligence officials viewed the briefing as a tactical error, saying that had the official who delivered the conclusion spoken less pointedly or left it out, they would have avoided angering the Republicans. That intelligence official, Shelby Pierson, is an aide to Mr. Maguire who has a reputation of delivering intelligence in somewhat blunt terms. The president announced on Wednesday that he was replacing Mr. Maguire with Richard Grenell, the ambassador to Germany and long an aggressively vocal Trump supporter. Complete article here: Russia Backs Trump’s Re-election, and He Fears Democrats Will Exploit Its Support I saw that. Wonder if Paul is happy Trump is escalating his paranoia?

Russia is the important one. Have you linked their activities to possible contamination of the air/water from the thawing of the perma frost yet? If not, you might want to consider they are planning for, if and when something bad thaws out.

You are thinking about influences too narrowly and too personally. Try again.

Which one is going to cause you to vote for Trump?? Which prove the point that I make about the Russian influence,, There is nothing the Russians do that is going to get you to vote for Trump!!!!! So why does so many here, are so sure the Russians are effecting the elections, If the Russian's want some one elected,, it would be Bernie. He is pushing their philosophy!!

OC you might want to google how the Russians influence elections - a lot of times they aren't necessarily trying to get people to vote for a particular candidate, but rather, convincing voters to stay home. Can you see how that might change the outcome of an election?
Also, Russia is actually already attempting to influence the Dem primaries in favor of Bernie Sanders. Can you guys why?

SURE Was it not John Brennan the lied thru his teeth about the intelligence gathering for regular Americans?? Before Congress??
Why is he not in jail,,, like Stone?? OH wait, that's right, Brennan hate Trump so it is OK for him not to be in prison!
