Trump Tells Gov. Cuomo To Drop New York State Lawsuits Against Him President Donald Trump demanded New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) drop all of New York state’s lawsuits against him prior to a meeting between the two on Thursday to discuss the suspension of travel programs that would benefit immigrants, along with other New Yorkers. “He must understand that National Security far exceeds politics,” Trump said a week after the Department of Homeland Security announced it was suspending New York residents from participating in Trusted Traveler Programs such as Global Entry that make it easier to return to the U.S. from foreign trips. The move was in response to New York passing the “Green Light Law,” which allows undocumented immigrants to obtain drivers licenses and participate in the TTP. Trump implied that the suspension could be lifted with a quid pro quo. “New York must stop all of its unnecessary lawsuits & harassment, start cleaning itself up, and lower taxes,” he tweeted. I hope Cuomo tells him to go pound sand.
Trump's life is really going to suck when he's out of office. All of the people he's been threatening are going to come back to haunt him. Bigly.

I mean, he got away with it once already. Should we really be surprised that he's doing it again?

I hope Cuomo tells him to go pound sand. Trump's life is really going to suck when he's out of office. All of the people he's been threatening are going to come back to haunt him. Bigly. " hope Cuomo tells him to go pound sand." ==================================== "As of last fall, Trump was juggling 30 different investigations by various congressional, executive branch and state officials related to his business, campaign, inauguration and presidency dealings, The New York Times reported. Eight of those are New York state investigations into Trump’s family tax schemes, potential underpaid taxes, misuse of charitable assets and the role of Trump’s children in his businesses, among other matters."==================================== You have to admit, the Donald in some ways has a set of brass gonads as he makes these demands for special favors..also uses government powers to benefit himself...There is no extra security risks by NY citizens returning to States The man is as openly corrupt as any citizen has been and makes no effort to hide the corruption...When are the GOP legislatures, who so many are lawyers, so many have been prosecutors before serving as elected official , as lawyers "officers of the court" , have had enough and break with this human embarrassment... The country is becoming a laughing embarrassment of the world, over 200 years of special status among nations being washed down the toilet in just over three years...un f***"**g believable...who would have thought..

From the beginning I said trump was his own worst enemy. He is getting bolder with his indiscretions and words and IMO they will be his downfall.

Since we have been told multiple times that the impeachment process is different from a regular trial, and in light of his latest statements, wonder whether the double jeopardy rule applies to impeachment. If not they could just hand those articles of impeachment down again (that pesky little thing about foreign influence)
"President Donald Trump now admits he sent his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine to dig up dirt on 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter, a central part of Trump’s impeachment. …"

I do not think it is illegal for him to do this "personally". The charge was that he did it "officially".

Trump says he may stop letting others listen in on calls with world leaders The president mused in an interview about scrapping the practice less than a year after one such call led to his impeachment. www.politico.com/news/2020/02/13/trump-phone-calls-world-leaders-114997On other words, when he demands another illegal quid pro quo from a foreign leader, there will be no witnesses.

The man is inherently evil and know with his party giving him a pass, there is no reason , within his own convoluted mind { I don't expect him to shoot some one down on a NYC main street......one of his hired guns?.....……………………...eeehhh } to hold back and worry about censure, bad anything...he is untouchable...or so he believes.{sigh}

Back when Trump was running for office he kept talking about how he would become presidential when he got elected. Stop tweeting, stop name calling, become diplomatic, etc. I knew that was impossible. He's in his seventies, he's been the way he's been since he got kicked out of elementary school for assaulting his teacher. No one, not his parents or the cops or courts, were able to get him to change his behavior, and he's too old a dog to learn new tricks at this point. He ran his business with a few trusted stooges and his criminal children, keeping a shredder on his desk to destroy any physical evidence, and including a lawyer in every conversation to keep them all privileged. He's running the oval office the same way. No one should be surprised.
