Long overdue. Kelly needs to speak out more often. Kelly may get the military to finally get them speaking out too.

It is not just General Kelley who was disillusioned with the Donald...according to this posted article, interviews with some of our highestt ranked military, all services, three and four star or equivalent, consensus was under the Donald... "we is in deep doo doo...and most important , why."Some spoke publicly, others not so public ...but for them to even voice such concerns over their civilien superiors, just not done....but so concerned, under the Donald, they made exceptions. -------------------------------------------------------- "Military officers are sworn to serve whomever voters send to the White House. Cognizant of the special authority they hold, high-level officers epitomize respect for the chain of command, and are extremely reticent about criticizing their civilian overseers. That those I spoke with made an exception in Trump’s case is telling, and much of what they told me is deeply disturbing. In 20 years of writing about the military, I have never heard officers in high positions express such alarm about a president. Trump’s pronouncements and orders have already risked catastrophic and unnecessary wars in the Middle East and Asia,...….." ------------------------------------------------- "The military is hard to change. This is bad, because it can be maddeningly slow to adapt, but also good, because it can withstand poor leadership at the top. In the most crucial areas, the generals said, the military’s experienced leaders have steered Trump away from disaster. So far. “The hard part,” one general said, “is that he may be president for another five years.”==================================== The following article from the November Atlantic, one of the best summations of the Trump administration from perspective of senior military officers, all branches...A must read IMHO... -------------------------------------------------- www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/11/military-officers-trump/598360/

andi..LOL...u beat me to it... "President Trump on Thursday hit back at his former chief of staff, John Kelly, after he defended a former National Security Council official who was ousted after testifying against the president in the impeachment inquiry -- saying Kelly “can’t keep his mouth shut." -----------------------------------------------
What is interesting to me regarding the comments of the General...it's he isn't disputing the Generals comments about himself...just suggesting he keep his comments to himself... What is even more telling is the link I posted above relating to how high ranking professional military folks feel about the Donald. So little respect and giving the main reasons why...I believe there were broken down in six segments..Again, suggest all pull up and read...puts General Kellys thoughts even more in perspective. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Posting for your benefit again... ---------------------------------------------------------------- www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/11/military-officers-trump/598360/

"... can’t keep his mouth shut, which he actually has a military and legal obligation to do,” Trump continued. link No he doesn't.

I await a military coup taking out the 'president'. Hopefully not.....better left to the movies ala Kirk Dougls…Burt Lancaster...great cast....Kennedy after reading the novel thought such a event was plausible...wanted film made...I remember at the time General Walker..{tank named after him} big anti communist , became political after retiring..and Air Force General Curtis LeMay..famouse for air attacks against Japan and head of SAC, also big anti communist...ready to nuc them...especially during Cuban Missile Crises. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Days_in_May "Seven days in May"

I love how Trump is so outraged that Kelly's wife said Kelly admired him and would never speak out against Trump even when Kelly left office. It just gripes Trump's ass when any x-workers speak shit about him. Maybe if he wasn't such a pathetic boss he wouldn't have to many angry ex-employees. And talk about 'not being capable of doing the job.'

Comments possible to late...long over due...Won't resonate with the Donalds base... I only cared minimally about his base when HC made the deplorables comment.
now, I care far less.
