I am looking for a rotary cutter to cut fleece and other fabrics. Does anyone have a brand / model recommendation? TIA

I have a small one that does well on cottons and such. Went to the local fabric store many years ago to buy it. The brand is Fiskars and it works well enough for me. JoAnn's is the only fabric store around that I know of, and it's not the best.

I prefer to use scissors with fleece. If not careful, using a rotary cutter on a mat can lead to too many fibers getting into the mat and making a mess of it (this happens much faster with fleece than with cotton). I've used both fiskars and olfa rotary cutters and both have been fine. I try to stock up on blades when they are on a big sale or I have a good coupon, because they can get expensive. Just make sure to put them back into the safety position any time you set them down, I've seen way too many injuries happen from blades left exposed!

Agree that a rotary cutter is not the best tool for fleece. Eight-inch or longer shears, properly sharpened, is my go-to tool for cutting large pieces of fabric. I find the rotary cutters are better used with smaller amounts of fabric such as cutting lots of quilt pieces efficiently.
Whatever method you choose to cut fabric, choose a good quality tool (I like Gingher scissors and shears). The rotary cutter I have is by Fiskars, and it has been good. Rotary cutter blades need to be replaced or sharpened regularly.
