9 movies for best picture. If they are going to keep increasing that number, they need more weeks between nominations and the awards. I guess I have to see 3 movies a week. I already saw Jo Jo Rabbit, which I loved. It is going to be hard to beat that one.

Saw Parasite, Once Upon a Time and Ford v Ferrari. Marriage Story and Little Women are on my list. 1917 on husbands so I’ll probably see that too.

Parasite was soooooo good.
I liked Ford v Ferrari, too.
Will see 1917 this weekend. For some reason we can't seem to carve out a block of time to watch Marriage Story.

I saw Jojo Rabbit. Much more poignant than just the satire in the trailer would indicate.

I saw Jojo Rabbit. Much more poignant than just the satire in the trailer would indicate. I loved JoJo Rabbit. Seeing a confusing world through a 10 year old's eyes was unique. We watched 4 of the 5 short documentaries. Heavy stuff. If you can, watch 'How to learn to Skateboard in a warzone'. It was a good one. I'm only left with Little Women and The Irishman. At this point, we might skip the Irishman. Too long of a committment. I didn't like 1917 - I mean, it was good, but it didn't seem necessary. Was that really a story we haven't seen before? I didn't like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood either. Boring, and then 10 minutes of cartoony, way over the top, unrealistic violence. Whatever.
